
Cravings are loud. They kick and shout. They’re obnoxious and relentless like a tantruming toddler.
When a craving hits me, I feel like there’s something switched on inside me, driving me with wild-eyed force until it has been fulfilled.
Many a time when they hit, I would find myself at the counter of a convenience store happily chatting to the clerk while I purchased family sized blocks of chocolate or entire buckets of ice cream. Then I would scurry home to wolf down the lot in solitude and hide the evidence before my partner got home.

In a couple of weeks it will have been three years since I started Gerson Therapy, and one year since I completed it.
