After giving you a run down of everything I eat in a day, I had a few requests to give you an insight of what my exercise schedule looks like.

I have a confession to make. Up until fairly recently, my exercise routine was pretty poor. I used to be addicted to Bikram yoga and would do that three or four times a week, but when I started Gerson Therapy and every hour was accounted for in front of the juicer, Bikram flew way down my list of priorities and my desire to exercise plummeted. But this year I made a commitment to myself to move my body in some way every single day. It’s something I bang on about constantly, so I figured it was time for me to walk my talk.

I haven’t eaten anything that isn’t organic in three years – to the day, today actually (it’s been three years since I started Gerson Therapy – woo!). And I don’t plan on ever going back to eating conventional food. Honestly, I don’t see why organic food should be made out to be the odd way of eating when it’s actually the way we are designed to eat. Our bodies are not designed to consume chemicals, and yet we think it’s entirely normal to eat fruits and vegetables that have been sprayed with them and grown in soils that are drenched in them. Does anyone else think that’s nuts?

As you read this, I’m away in Bali on a health retreat hosted by my bestie Melissa Ambrosini. I’m spending seven whole days in Heaven On Earth eating organic food, being pampered, and doing a whole lot of relaxing. I don’t want to make you jealous – my aim is to inspire you to create a retreat-like environment in your very own home. It may not be exactly the same, but you can definitely reap some of the benefits usually reserved for fancy retreats right where you are.

I don’t even know where to start when it comes to an appropriate introduction for Rachel MacDonald. On paper, she is the creator of the amazing blog In Spaces Between. She’s also a brilliant life and blog coach, and has the most dewy clear skin I’ve ever seen in real life. My inbox is a busy place, but this email I received a few weeks back stopped me in my tracks. I asked if I could share it with you all because I think it’s absolutely essential for women to read and learn from this situation. Please share this one around – this woman’s story simply must be heard. Here goes:

There’s not much that tops hanging out with David Wolfe on a Friday night. Sure, he was in a gym in Amsterdam having just finished a rebounding class with his breatharian friend, and I was sitting in my bedroom-slash-office here in Australia, and we were hanging out via Skype – but it was still very, very cool.

David Wolfe is the eccentric, freakishly knowledgeable and wildly popular wellness superstar. He more than earns his titles as one of the world’s leading experts in nutrition, and the “rock star” of the raw food world.

I’ve spoken about how drinking a spoonful of clay in water is part of my daily morning routine, but today on healthtalks I’m giving you a quick demo and even more of an explanation of why this simple act is so beneficial.

Nat sits down with me as we discuss what kind of affect the clay has on the body, what type of clay is best to ingest, a few tips for maximising the clay’s detoxification potential and, of course, how to do it.

A couple of weeks ago I had the honour of joining some of my best friends – Melissa Ambrosini, Amanda Rootsey and Tara Bliss – on stage in Brisbane for the very first Self-Love & Sisterhood event. The night went off, sparking a slew of requests for us to take the show on the road around Australia. So, that’s what we did. Another of our sisters, Yvette Luciano from Earth Events, orchestrated the whole show with dates in Sydney and Melbourne last week. What an absolutely incredible week it was! Not only did we get to hang out with our best friends all week, but we had the pleasure of speaking to packed-out rooms of amazing women each night. It was a week to remember, that’s for sure.
