GUEST POST BY BELINDA DAVIDSON.
2012 has been a buzzword for a decade now, but it was in 2004 that the talk about it started to reach me. People who were coming to me for medical intuitive consultations started asking me about what was going to happen in the world in 2012, and how it would impact their lives.

This is an extra special book recommendation post because, for the first time, I am friends with each one of the book’s authors. The recommendations are certainly not rooted in bias – I am just super proud to be able to toot the horns of these amazing people for the brilliant work they are producing to the world.
I have just finished reading each of these books, and I highly recommend you add them to your reading list toot sweet.

GUEST POST BY VIENDA MARIA.
For many years now I’ve been in the habit of observing my body. It’s undoubtably my greatest teacher in life as it continuously reflects the physicality of my emotions and thoughts. My body shows me what is going on in my world, both consciously and subconsciously, and invariably how to heal myself. I thank it deeply for this.

I have done a lot of crazy shiz to heal my body and transform my life. I’ve eaten sea cucumbers, drank straight beetroot juice, injected myself with B12, crude liver and mistletoe, drank castor oil, put coffee up my bottom, put castor oil up my bottom, drank hourly juices, turned vegan, seen energy healers, seen psychics, seen crystal healers, had vitamin C IVs, became a yogi, and taken so many pills and potions that it’s impossible to count. However, there are three things that I’ve done that have had the biggest impact and brought me the most benefits.

As you may know, I’ve been in the US for the past three weeks travelling around, eating amazing healthy food, and meeting up with some incredible people. But the crux of my trip – and the reason I decided to fly across the ocean in the first place – was Marie Forleo’s annual event, Rich Happy & Hot Live.

Have you ever been in a relationship that you really, really should have ended – possibly even months or years previous – but you stayed because, well, it all just became a comfortable routine? As humans, we are such creatures of habit. It’s almost to our detriment. We hang on to people, salaries, beliefs, behaviours and conditions that aren’t always best for us, simply because we

The first time I really understood how much I needed alone time was in high school. It was school holidays and I had spent a few days hopping around between my friend’s houses, bag full of enough clothes to last me indefinitely. It was early evening and I was hungover and tired. This was the first time I’d grown sick of being in the company of others and all I wanted was hangout by myself. I called my dad to come and pick me up, went home and shut myself away in my room with a movie (How Stella Got Her Groove Back) and a whole satay chicken pizza to myself.

These are no ordinary times that we live in. I think it goes without saying that we have access to more information than ever about wellness, health and vitality. With the click of a few buttons we can find information about anything! The options that are presented to us are infinite and that itself breeds confusion. It seems that the main question for our generation is not what to do but how to make it last.

GUEST POST BY DR GREG SCHREEUWER.
I have been on my personal development journey for about 6 years now and in that time, I have learnt various techniques, been to loads of seminars and read so many self help books, as I am sure many of you have. In all that time, I kept receiving a constant message but I wasn’t too sure what to do with it so I kind of overlooked it. The message was: learn to love and appreciate who you are in order to have success in your life. This message has been filtering in and out of my life, probably for a lot longer than these 6 years, but I only truly decided to do something about it, very recently, thanks to my interesting experience with the joys and thrills of immigration and all the associated red tape.

It is very true that the simplest healing tools are the most powerful. It’s also true that these are the ones that are most often over looked. This is especially the case when it comes to the topic of today’s blog post: nature.
It’s no surprise that a few years ago my body had to resort to drastic measures to get me to give it what it needed. I was living a life of excess when it came to alcohol, drugs and bad foods; but I was living a life of lack when it came to aligning with nature.
