After giving you a run down of everything I eat in a day, I had a few requests to give you an insight of what my exercise schedule looks like.
I have a confession to make. Up until fairly recently, my exercise routine was pretty poor. I used to be addicted to Bikram yoga and would do that three or four times a week, but when I started Gerson Therapy and every hour was accounted for in front of the juicer, Bikram flew way down my list of priorities and my desire to exercise plummeted. But this year I made a commitment to myself to move my body in some way every single day. It’s something I bang on about constantly, so I figured it was time for me to walk my talk.

As you read this, I’m away in Bali on a health retreat hosted by my bestie Melissa Ambrosini. I’m spending seven whole days in Heaven On Earth eating organic food, being pampered, and doing a whole lot of relaxing. I don’t want to make you jealous – my aim is to inspire you to create a retreat-like environment in your very own home. It may not be exactly the same, but you can definitely reap some of the benefits usually reserved for fancy retreats right where you are.

My inbox is a busy place, but this email I received a few weeks back stopped me in my tracks. I asked if I could share it with you all because I think it’s absolutely essential for women to read and learn from this situation. Please share this one around – this woman’s story simply must be heard. Here goes:

GUEST POST BY DANI PEPPER.
Our skin is the largest organ of our body and it’s also an excretory organ, meaning it’s a means for removing unwanted materials from our bodies. Our bodies are super clever and try to communicate with us by getting our attention. Wrinkling, dimpling and break-outs are our bodies way of screaming for attention and should signal to you that something is amiss internally.

I recently wrote a post outlining my pick of the best blenders on the market, and it was so popular that it sparked requests for the juicer equivalent of such a review. So, here it is! I’ve got a more in-depth guide to buying the right juicer inside The Lifestyle Transformation Guide, but for now here’s a quick overview of the top juicers I recommend.

In a couple of weeks it will have been three years since I started Gerson Therapy, and one year since I completed it. However, when I say ‘completed it’, I don’t mean stop-all-together-and-go-back-to-eating-crap. Far from it. These days, my diet is still very much rooted in the Gerson foundation and I absolutely love it.

It’s no secret I’m a fan of the smoothie. Every second picture I post on Instagram is a visual nod to the great, blended drink. Smoothies are a staple of my diet. Green ones, in particular, but I also love a good berry or cacao dessert-type smoothie on occasion. Barely a day goes by that I don’t use my blender, and I even have an e-book with over 80 green smoothie recipes that you will score for free when you sign up for my newsletters. So, it’s no surprise that I’m constantly being asked for advice on which blender to buy.

There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t pause and silently thank the universe for how amazingly blessed I am, but on the weekend that I went to Gwinganna Lifestyle Retreat, these silent “thank yous” became my mantra. I was constantly overwhelmed by the amount of beauty, love and joy I was surrounded with – and couldn’t help thanking whoever is responsible for creating it and collaborating with me on bringing it into my life.

I’m the first to admit that taking supplements is a pain in the ass. It can be expensive, it’s a bit of an inconvenience, and I would much prefer to receive all of the nutrients I need from food. However, the reality is that our food these days just doesn’t cut it – even if you eat a clean, organic diet. We need supplements to make up for the areas our bodies are lacking in.
