This week’s healthtalks segment is a little different and longer than usual, but I promise it’s worth it. Last week I broke my rule of going to sleep by 10pm so that I could join my fellow healthtalks co-stars and record an interview with The Wellness Guys. Today, we want to share our conversation with you.
The Wellness Guys are three wellness experts and chiropractors from Australia. They are Wellness TV Star Dr Damian Kristof, Wellness Author Dr Brett Hill and Wellness Coach Dr Laurence Tham. We had so much fun chatting with them.
In this video/recording, you’ll learn:
+ The inspiration behind healthtalks
+ All about “fat phobia”
+ Current issues and trends in women’s health
+ The importance of challenging ourselves and facing fears
+ My message to people who think that their health and wellbeing is not a priority
+ Our opinions on beauty and health
+ Why breast cancer is such an epidemic at the moment

Great show !!! Love watching/listening to your shows.
Thank you so much for these talks. I have learnt so much and you have made me more aware of my self health. Please keep these talks going in the new year!
Thank you
Sharon:)
LOVE healthtalks! Another great episode/segment!
This was my first time listening to health talks….and absolutely LOVED it! Thanks guys!
I love The Wellness Guys, and swear that they should pay me a commission for the amount I bang on about them to anyone who’ll listen! I listened to your episode on Monday, Jess, and I only wish that it could have been longer! With three lovely ladies who all have such interesting bodies of knowledge, they could easily have filled three whole episodes with all the goodness you guys were sharing!!!
My only complaint, and I almost wanted to write on their fb page to say it, was that Damien said something along the lines of ‘you should really check the girls’ show out, especially cos they’re very easy on the eye’ (this was also written in their newsletter). Of course, you are all beautiful women, but more importantly, you’re all beautiful on the inside. I just felt it was not the most constructive thing that could have been said, it’s basically irrelevant to the massive bodies of knowledge and wisdom that you all have, and I felt it was mildly… patronising.
This may just be me, but I feel like anyone in the wellness sphere shouldn’t be putting emphasis on people’s external looks like that (also, it was quite funny as a piece of juxtaposition against the lovely things that Mel was talking about later in the call about people not feeling beautiful and therefore not loving/punishing themselves… Kind of amusing!)
That quibble aside, I really do love listening to those guys! And Jess, your episode was great. PS I loved your use of the word ‘shit-storm’!!!
Hi Jess do you do home set ups for gerson therapy?
erica » Hi Erica, I don’t do them but my mum does. Where do you live? x
Hi jess I live in California. I really want to start the therapy I also have breasted cancer, are you cancer free now?
errica » Hi Errica, I don’t have scans or check up on the status of my cancer so I can’t say whether I am “cancer free” or not. I can see my tumours though, and they are disappearing – and I have had no new ones in over 3 years. x
