This week I had the honour of sharing my interview with Joe Cross with you guys. Here is the third and final part of the Skype chat I had with Joe, who is the star and creator of the inspiring film Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead.

In part two of my chat with Joe, we talked about …

# How long he thinks it would take for his health issues to come back if he went back to his old habits.

# Why he doesn’t like the term “detox”.

# The fine line between being excited about your health journey, and being preachy.

# The one piece of wisdom he’s picked up that he wants the world to know.

# What he would say to people who know they need to make health changes, but have excuses that are getting in the way.

# What he thought of my e-book, Make Peace With Your Plate.

Check it out:

In case you missed them, this week I posted parts one and two of my interview with Joe.

What did you think of part three of my chat with Joe? Have you seen his film? What did you think of it? Have you done a “reboot”? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this in the comments below.

Positive affirmation for the day: There is nothing to fear about my future. I am safe. All is well.

Oops sorry! I forgot to switch it over. It should be fixed now. Thanks heaps for letting me know x

What a brilliant series Jess! Thanks Joe for all your wise words. Both this and your interview with James really speak to me about balance, as well as focusing on what you’re adding in rather than what you’re missing. What a great mindset to have so that we can find balance in our busy lives without stressing too much about food!

I find that whenever I cook a vegan meal for my boyfriend, he complains he’s still hungry afterwards, even if it’s a full plate packed with legumes, good fats and tonnes of veges. He acknowledges part of it is probably in his head since he’s grown up eating meat with almost every meal, but does anyone out there have any tips for getting around this feeling of meal dissatisfaction?

Well done Jess,

These interviews are so inspiring …. All I can think is ‘Joe Cross for Prime Minister” – Then we really would have hope for the Wellbeing of the nation !!

What a great man for sharing all this information out there in a effort to improve other people’s lives!

JUST finished watching the movie! Cried so many times during it – I’m a little softie :D
Joe! Such an inspiration! And Phil too! Woha!
I’ve done some fasting before, and I would love to do a juice fast, problem is that I’m underweight so I’m just wondering if I can still do one???

Thanks heaps Jess for enlightening me about this film :] Awesome. Loving it!

So I loved his movie, I am doing a similar detox, actually the one from Kris Carr (Crazy Sexy Diet) but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Joe’s movie and actually felt sooo proud of Phil! I truly believe this could help so many people and hope to see moer and more people triyng a more whole foods, natural food consumption. Juice or not…whole foods is key.
