What your pee and poop says about you!

Toilet talk can be a bit of a sensitive subject for some people. I find it so amusing to gauge someone’s reaction when I start chatting about how much time I spend sitting on the loo (I do four enemas a day, I can’t help but weave it into my conversations). But in reality, paying attention to what you expel into the toilet bowl can actually tell you a lot about what is going on inside your body.

For instance, a quick peek in the potty can tell you whether you are lacking in fibre, not drinking enough water, not absorbing fats, or you’re not absorbing your food all together. It’s fascinating stuff.

Check out the infographic I spotted on Kimberly Snyder’s website this morning and see how your wees and poos shape up. Click the image to enlarge.

Have you ever looked to your poop or pee to see how your internal environment is doing? Have you discovered anything interesting from looking at this chart?

Positive affirmation for the day: It’s okay to say no when I don’t want to do something.

Nice one! It did make me laugh :p

Just backed one out then.. Its all good! lol

Hi Jess,
I subscribe to many health and wellbeing blogs. I have noticed that you seem to be repeating other blogger’s material. This post was delivered to my inbox my Kimberly Snyder this morning???

Hi Lisa, yes that is where I saw it as well and I felt I just had to share it with my readers. I’ve credited Kimberly Snyder in my post. I don’t usually re-post material from other sites, but this one was too good not to share.

thanks for sharing jess, i don’t where you get stuff from. you’re educating people, keep doing it!

Agreed it was worth sharing with everyone, it’s not brought up enough and I thought the info was fanastic! Thanks Jess x

If you see great stuff, share it, don’t keep it to oneself.

@Lisa…..it is pretty clear that she credited Kimberly Snyder for this post “Check out the infographic I spotted on Kimberly Snyder’s website this morning and see how your wees and poos shape up.”.

Thanks Jess for sharing! Love your site and you are one of the few newsletters that I make a point to read every day!

The joys of talking about stuff that makes people uncomfortable. Thanks for the insights…with a splash of humour. Love ya style beautiful lady! x

That’s great! Please continue to share things you find helpful. I love your site and the info you post or pass-on. One question – how in the world do you find time to do 4 enemas a day!? Is this for the two years?

Thanks Suzy! Ha ha yep more or less for the two years. It was actually 5 enemas at the start, now that I’ve hit my 18 month mark it is reduced to 3, but for most of the time it’s four. I spend a lot of time in the bathoom :)

Wow!!! Hopefully the bathroom has a nice view. ;)

I tried to get my mom to follow Gerson after rectal and lung cancers were removed. I was making all of the juices for here everyday for a while… but she never would do the enemas (even though she knew the importance!). Unfortunately, she couldn’t hang with the program…

Although I am very healthy, I juice the Gerson juices everyday, enjoy the Hippocrates soup at least once per week, and do the coffee enemas every two months. =) But now I am 16 weeks pregnant, so no more coffee enemas for now.

I admire and respect your determination. Thanks again for opening your life, and spending so much time and effort passing all of the information on. I’m here almost everyday. xoxo Wishing you and your mom the very best.

Jess, great. I’ve got to share! Love the images and chart!

Thank you so much these are things you would not normally see and ould probably be hard to find.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND INFO Dear One : ))

Hi Jess, enjoyed the read, thanks for making me stop and think…… and you know sometimes a great message needs to be passed on, no matter where you get it from!

good job Jess !!

With the risk of really being gross ( here goes ) the Gerson therapy has
given me some “potty fascination”…. because when you are really working with diet intensively,
immediate feedback… is in the toilet !
sometimes…it’s that feedback that lets me know that this is working / healing (!!!) and gives
me motivation to do my best each day !

It is so important to be in communication with our bodies and to be observant and aware of what the
body is telling us !

good post !

sandra

Sandra- totally agree. I have a peer/coach through IIN who is a detox specialist and it is amazing what feedback you get and how quickly if you know what you are looking for. Your body speaks to you, but people don’t know the signs and signals it is sending out. They instead use pepcid and antiacids and serious junk to mask what is going on because they don’t like the symptoms, usually of something very large.

Jess you didn’t mention enema poop? Would love to hear your thoughts? Would you have a normal stool with 4 e’s a day? I have 1 enema a day and would love to know your thoughts on what should be regular?

Haha, all the time gorgeous! :D Kind of unavoidable to notice what things look like when you empty your bladder with a catheter and have a colostomy. :P

I think it’s kind of funny how some foods affect the urine. Now I know you’re a vegan nowadays so you don’t get to experiment with this but when you eat tuna the urine will smell like tuna the next time you go. Even if it’s only been a short while since you ate it.

I’d also like to add that urine can be cloudy from time to time without there being a problem. I would suggest drinking a bit more to rinse the bladder and then watch it a bit. Just brought this up with a urotherapist the other day since I’ve experienced cloudy urine at least once with my pregnancy with Noah and once this pregnancy.

Thanks! Love it. I went to the other blog and it had an “embed” button right on the blog itself so it was obvious that it was supposed to be shared!

Hi Jess,
So if your poo and wee fall into the healthy category, should you still do enemas??

Yep, absolutely! Coffee enemas will detoxify your liver, which is a bonus even if your colon is working well.

I think this topic is extremely important and needs to be regularly addressed. It gives a great indication of the health of the digestive tract and dietary intake. So many health issues are associated with complications and bacteria build-up within the bowel. I have a Poo Chart stuck on the wall in my toilet which i find is a great tool and educates all my visitors.

Kathy C asked the same question I was wondering about….with 4 enema’s a day(not to mention the caster oil ones!) do you have normal bowel movements? I only do 1 enema a day(don’t have cancer but other serious illnesses) and even with one, I don’t have a normal formed one. Susanelizabeth

Hi Jess have you ever used kombucha for its glucuronic acid properties, and Rosemary and Curcuma for detoxification phase 1 and 2 of the liver.?
Congratulations on such a feat, soon to be de-feat. Well done you .
