An interview with Suzanne Somers, on the doctors who are curing cancer
After being told by six different doctors that she has inoperable, incurable cancer throughout her entire body – and then finding out that this was a misdiagnosis – actress and health care advocate Suzanne Somers decided to make it her mission to uncover the real truths about cancer. Suzanne said that if she had been a different patient, she probably would have opted for the full-body chemotherapy they were telling her she needed to have THAT DAY.
However, during the time she was “staring death in the face” she began researching and keeping a file of doctors who are curing cancer, mostly without drugs. So, upon finding out that she didn’t actually have cancer, Suzanne set out to interview these doctors, and then wrote a book called Knockout: Interviews with Doctors Who Are Curing Cancer And How to Prevent Getting It in the First Place. Not only did she talk to the doctors, but she spoke to their patients. These are people with stage four cancer who have been cured without drugs and without debilitating side-effects.
This interview is really interesting. I definitely recommend putting aside whatever you’re doing for the next nine minutes and 51 seconds and hearing what Suzanne has to say. Everyone who has cancer, or loves someone who does, needs to hear this interview. Not only does she uncover many gems about curing cancer, but she also says something very important about a high-profile oncologist who says if he were a woman he would hand-down refuse to have a mammogram.
I haven’t read the book yet, but it’s on order. I’ll let you know what I think of it once I’ve read it.
Has anyone read Suzanne’s book, Knockout? Or any of her other books? What did you think of this interview?
Positive affirmation for the day: Today I will let go of what isn’t work for me to make room for the universe to show me something better.

I remember watching Suzanne as a kid in the seventies on Three's Company. She is obviously onto something – for someone once diagnosed with cancer Suzanne looks fabulously healthy so many years on!!
)
Hello, I have read several of her books as I was interested in her work with bio-identical hormones. I find her very inspiring in her proactive approach to her healing path.
I have read Suzanne's books on Cancer and the like. They are amazing books full of incredible information for all of us who value our health. Suzanne says in this interview that she is no longer afraid of cancer and I have to say that I am no longer afraid of it either.
I have read her books and although she does tout healthy organics, she eats alot of meat, fat and follows Dr Schwarzbein(I also have her books), which seems contrary to Gerson with no meat, dairy, fat. So it's a bit confusing to me. I haven't watched the video you posted but will now. I would be interested to hear your thoughts on this Jess.
@ Susanelizabeth:
I don't know much about Suzanne's personal diet – I'm yet to read her books, but very excited about getting them in the post. But I do know that she doesn't have cancer, and so I doubt she would follow the Gerson diet. That doesn't mean she doesn't advocate it for those who do have cancer.
Jess x
She is a cancer survivor(I believe both breasts?). She had radiation then, but also tremendously changed her diet. But her diet is very different from Gerson. I always find it amazing the different routes people take in healing their bodies. What she did, worked for her she feels and I support her 100% as I do Gerson. We are all so different and need to find what works for us and what we have peace about.
Thanks so much for posting this and I will look forward to your feedback on the book after you have read it.
I am very grateful for both of you and all those who give so much of yourselves to help heal others.
Hi Jess,
I'm looking forward to watching the vid – thanks for posting!
xx
What she said about the mammograms was amazing in itself. What women go through because of fear! Obviously not a wellness enhancing body loving practice at all – why do it if it is so painful and inducing of suffering.
Well done Suzanne and well done Jess for spreading the word!
I have read her book Breakthrough and that changed my life!! I'm only 35 and was ready for bio-identicals and so I do! She is an inspiration and personal hero to me! I have knockout as well, but haven't finished it yet. But I know she speaks the truth! I think that doctors knew exactly that she was an advocate to natural healthy life style and tried to shut her down by diagnosing her like this…. It was really strange! She is still danger to big pharma. Enjoy reading her books Jess, you'll love it!!
Just ordered her book online & am excited for the read:)

Have and read Knockout and it is PACKED full of awesomeness! Great post Jess. Look forward to hearing your thoughts on her books. xxx
Hm if it were Lady Gaga now that's a celebrity whose advice I would take. Not sure about taking health advice from a 70's z-grade sitcom star. But good luck with your trip.
I’m reading Knockout right now, and it is the best book on Cancer that I have read so far. After being turned away from the Gerson Institute because of brain metastasis, I am now looking into Dr. Gonzales’ treatment in NYC, whom I just found out about in this book. He has a similar approach as Gerson so I believe it’s a good fit. Here’s hoping he accepts me. Thank you so so so SO much for posting this, it lead me to buying the book.. it’s totally opening up my eyes. Way to go, Jess!!!!!
